Talking About Bean Cafe, Kampar

Been to Bean Cafe a dozen time, yet this is the first time we blog about it. They have changed their Musetti blend to something else, something that they are not willing to disclose (wonder what kinda beans are in their blend). Unknown roaster. We ordered a cappuccino, and request for a smaller cup, instead of their signature tall sized mug.

The taste of the blend is...errr...salty?#%!...and it basically masks the other flavours of the blend, making it hard for us to profile the taste. According to the barista, this saltiness is resulted from the unique house blend they use...hmmm...anyway, they have certainly improved from the last time we visited them months ago, but still, despite having eye catching latte art, we found their cappuccino too milky, and the milk foam lack of smoothness, making the drinking experience feel like drinking salty milk coffee. Besides, the milk foam are too bubbly.

Though we do not really fancy the cuppa we ordered, we do like the large and soft sofa and dim light setting of the premise, nice place to chat and take a nap ;)
